Sowers Trust works with young people and families in Howick Ward (Pakuranga to Flatbush), Beachlands, Maraetai and parts of Otara.
We provide prevention and early to mid intervention programmes for young people. This includes youth development programmes and mentoring and support for the whole family.
Outcomes from some of our programmes include young people that have a greater sense of belonging, feel safe, have developed resiliency and are making positive choices.
She makes me open up and feel safe with, able to offer suggestions, advice and solutions, highly recommended.

and actually understand what I was going through. Because everyone was either against me or just listened and believed what my mother would say.

your triple p program and your patience with all the problems I faced this year, not often you find people that I am comfortable sharing problems..... you always listened and gave solid solutions and advice when in need and never judged.
What I find useful is that
I am being reminded about what I need to do with my kids. It’s hard with being short of time and having so much family involvement but our sessions help me to pay attention to things that are important.
It really was helpful to meet up with you!
I could let out my feelings opinions and thoughts out and be able to have a conversation with someone who you know genuinely cares about you, i felt really safe and really comfortable , really easy to share my thoughts with and have a helpful heart to heart conversation.
